INTRODUCTION TO BARBERING €1,250
15 weeks one Evening 5:30-8pm
The structure of this course is as follows;
- Theory
The theory structure of the introduction to barbering includes 3 modules of barber theory.
- Technical and Practical Skills
Technical and Practical Skills training takes place using barber training heads in our custom built barbering salon.

Schedule Practical and Technical Skills Training 12 Weeks 3 evenings per week 5:30-8pm or 3 Mornings 10:30-1pm

Salon Training;
This period of training combines all theory and technical and practical skills training in a practical environment. 6 weeks 2 days x 10am-6pm

- Technical and Practical Skills Technical and Practical Skills training takes place our custom built barbering salon.
- Salon Training A period of 6 weeks Salon Training incorporates all aspects of the barber/salon theory and practical and technical skills training
- Qualifications JFM Certificate in Barbering and Salon Management. Membership of the JFM Graduate Programme
On completion of this programme students will be eligible to can apply for the AIBH and BC

- Hair, Scalp and Wig Training, independently provided through Ms Aileen Maher in the JFM Academy, Cork or other location as agreed with Ms. Maher
On completion of this programme students will be eligible to can apply for the AIBH and BC Barber accreditations.
The Hair, Scalp and Wig Training takes place in Ireland. International Students must be prepared to pay additional travel costs to attend this training.
These are independent external Examinations and Qualifications that add significant advantages with international recognition and benefits.
English language Students can apply to have their language level accredited, KEY, PET, FCE and Advanced of Cambridge University, and of OXFORD TEST OF ENGLISH (the latter is carried out in The Language Academy in Estepona, Spain as it is the official centre of the Oxford Test
Fees are paid directly to the examining bodies. International students or students attending a course in another jurisdiction must be prepared for the additional costs to travel to Estepona Spain to sit these exams.
Barber Higher Diploma in Barbering and Salon Management, H.Dip.Barbering CONDENSED €5,000

A professional barber kit will be provided to include, clipper, guards, detailer, foil, scissor, thinning scissor, brush, comb, clips, dusting brush, spray bottle and hairdryer.
